Senior citizen publishes her first novel: In the Palm of His Hand

September 8, 2004 -- Sylvia Huffnagle, 61 yr. young resident of Lewistown, PA, offers her first inspirational romance, In the Palm of His Hand. In the Palm of His hand is a trade paperback and sells for only $11.95. After months of listening to the news reports about the 9/11 attack, she got the idea to write a novel depicting what a person might’ve gone through, having lost a loved one in that vicious attack. She, being a Christian, knows the value of a close relationship with the Lord and shows, in the novel, what He can do to bring good out of evil, even in as dire a situation as the 9/11 bombing.

In the Palm of His Hand tells the stories of young, happily married, Shari Cutter and Carli Gomez, who watch the 9/11 bombing on TV, knowing that their husbands are working there at that very minute. They rush down from New York’s East Side to Manhattan only to learn that there is no news of their loved ones and they must wait. While waiting, they both ask God to come back into their lives. From that point, God walks them through the process of adjusting and healing that many have had to go through due to that malicious act. In the end they can look back and see that they were in the palm of His hand the whole time.

The novel already has two very positive reviews.

The author has four e-books and three e-booklets published by e-BookTime.com. This is her first paperback and is being offered by Ingram Book Group and Baker & Taylor, Inc.

You can buy "In the Palm of His Hand" at e-booktime.com, amazon.com, barnes&noble.com and hopefully, soon at your local bookstore.

Sylvia is available for local book signings, book readings, interviews and mini-lectures on writing.
